Data blending Join Properties: Importance of same data type for match key fields

When creating data blends with Looker Studio the match key fields have to be the same data type. (also known as the join fields)

In the example below, you would need to  change the data type of customFieldId (Deal Custom Field Values) from Number to Text as per the screenshot below.

This will allow the  Deal Custom Field Values and Deal Custom Fields to be blended as in second screenshot.
